- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the chicken pieces to coat them evenly.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish and pour BBQ sauce over the top, ensuring they are well coated.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Baste the chicken with extra BBQ sauce halfway through the baking time if desired.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for a few hours before baking.
- You can use bone-in chicken for added flavor, but adjust the cooking time as needed.
