Ingredients

  • 1 (5.1 oz) vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 box vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla pudding mix and milk. Whisk until smooth and set aside for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. In another bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream. Whip until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the pudding mixture until fully combined.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mix gently.
  5. To assemble, start with a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom of a serving dish.
  6. Slice 2 bananas and layer them over the wafers.
  7. Pour a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
  8. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the pudding on top.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  10. Before serving, slice the remaining bananas and place them on top as a garnish.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • You can substitute homemade pudding for the instant pudding mix if desired.
  • For an extra touch, add a layer of crushed cookies between the layers.
