- 4 ripe peaches
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- for garnish fresh mint
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it reduce for about 5-10 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Brush the cut side of the peach halves with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the peaches cut side down on the grill. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until grill marks appear.
- Turn the peaches over and grill for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Remove from the grill and drizzle with the balsamic glaze.
- Garnish with fresh mint if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Choose ripe but firm peaches for grilling to prevent them from falling apart.
- You can substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan option.
- Serve with ice cream or yogurt for a delicious dessert.
