- 6 cups sliced fresh peaches, peeled and pitted
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss to combine and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spoon the batter over the peaches, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream!
