- 2 cans (15 oz each) baked beans
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Stir in the baked beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
