- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over both sides of the ribs.
- Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and preheat your grill or broiler.
- Unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce on both sides.
- Grill or broil the ribs for 5-10 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized.
- Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice rub overnight.
- Feel free to use your favorite BBQ sauce for a personalized touch.
- You can also cook the ribs in a slow cooker for a more hands-off approach.
