- 2 cups fresh apricots, halved and pitted
- 1 cup sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs, lemon juice, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Fold in the apricot halves gently.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
