- 1 pound large mushrooms, stems removed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture, pressing it down slightly.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling by adding cooked sausage, spinach, or other herbs.
- Make sure to clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth instead of rinsing them under water to prevent them from becoming soggy.
