Air Fryer Steaks: Perfectly Crispy and Juicy Every Time

  • Author: ushinzomr
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

Perfectly cooked steaks with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, all made in your air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the steaks, rubbing it in to coat evenly.
  4. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
  6. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium).
  7. Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the cooking time according to your desired doneness.
  • For thicker steaks, increase the cooking time by 2-3 minutes.
  • Letting the steaks rest helps retain their juices.
