- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even coating.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
