Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer.
  6. Lightly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray.
  7. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
