- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer.
- Lightly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices to the breadcrumb mixture for additional flavor.
