Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or blueberries (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips or blueberries if using.
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or use silicone muffin cups.
- Scoop the muffin batter into the prepared basket or cups, filling them about 2/3 full.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes before removing from the basket.
Notes
- Store muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
