- 4 pieces white fish (cod or haddock)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 4 large potatoes
Instructions
- Choose fresh fish for better flavor and texture.
- Prep your breading by mixing flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in one bowl, and whisking eggs in another bowl.
- Cut the potatoes into chip shapes and soak them in water for 30 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a towel.
- Coat each piece of fish in the flour mixture, then dip it into the eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the chips in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- After the chips are done, remove them and place the fish in the air fryer basket.
- Cook the fish for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy, checking for doneness.
- Serve immediately with homemade tartar sauce and a side of coleslaw or salad.
