Description
Delicious air fryer churros that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
- Let the mixture cool slightly, then beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pipe 4-inch strips of dough onto parchment paper, cut to size.
- Place the churros in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon in a bowl.
- Coat churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture after cooking.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the dough.
- Serve with chocolate sauce or caramel for dipping.
