Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red onion, cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken pieces, bell pepper, and onion to the marinade. Toss to coat evenly and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Thread the marinated chicken, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
- Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-15 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables like zucchini or cherry tomatoes.
- You can also use chicken thighs for more flavor and juiciness.
