Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, avocado, cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced chicken, bell peppers, onion, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until everything is well coated.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Place the chicken and vegetable mixture in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  5. Warm the flour tortillas in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes or in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Serve the chicken fajitas in tortillas with your choice of toppings.
