  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray or oil for spraying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each catfish fillet into the beaten eggs, then coat it in the cornmeal mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or lightly brush with oil.
  6. Place the coated catfish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
