- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray or oil for spraying
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each catfish fillet into the beaten eggs, then coat it in the cornmeal mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or lightly brush with oil.
- Place the coated catfish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Spray the tops of the fillets lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry the catfish fillets for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
