Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and scrub the potatoes under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
- Poke several holes in each potato with a fork to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- Rub the olive oil over each potato and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes, turning the potatoes halfway through, until the skin is crispy and a fork easily pierces the potato.
- Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Cut a slit in the top of each potato and fluff the insides with a fork. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- Cooking time may vary based on the size of the potatoes.
- For extra crispy skin, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
- You can also wrap the potatoes in foil before cooking if you prefer softer skin.
